Paul Borghese
as "Spats"
Spats is a funny man who is carefree and happy.
He is Delilah’s cousin and works as a cook in her café.
He immediately becomes Big Al’s friend and admirer. Sometimes
crude, sometimes sensitive, he is always funny.
Paul Borghese's off-Broadway acting credits include
William Shakespeare's Macbeth, Arsenic and Old Lace and
stage performances with the Italian American Repertory Company.
He has appeared in films such as Air Boss I & 2, Belly, Summer
of Sam and Keeping it Real with Stephen Baldwin.
His television credits include "As The World Turns",
the ABC mini-series "Witness To The Mob", "Saturday
Night Live", "Late Night with Conan O'Brien", an
appearance in the award-winning hit HBO series "The Sopranos",
and he plays a recurring roles on both NBC's "Third Watch" and
also "Law and Order:SVU". He has most notably portrayed
New York Yankee baseball hall of famer Yogi Berra in the HBO original
film "61*" which was nominated for 12 Emmy Awards and
won several. "61*" was directed by Billy Crystal. Paul
recently played roles in the independent feature films Death
By Committee, For Whom the Drum Beats, Transamerica which
stars Desperate Housewife Felicity Huffman , and Little Manhattan which
stars "Sex and the City"'s Cynthia Nixon. Paul currently
has several commercials running. One for Stackers 2, which frequently
airs on the WWE Smackdown show and one for the New York State Lottery
(Triple 7's). Paul appears with Tony Sirico who plays Paulie Walnuts
on "The Sopranos" in the Stackers commercial and with
Sopranos cast member Dan Grimaldi in the 777's Lottery commercial.
He appeared with Vin Diesel in Find me Guilty, a film
directed Sidney Lumet, released in 2005.
